In the second panel we see that the other members of the divine Trinity-Jesus Christ (IHS) and the Holy Spirit (the dove)–are also agents of creation. We read in the Bible: ‘In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth…and the Spirit of God was moving over the waters’ (Genesis 1:1-2); ‘In the beginning was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made-nothing that has been made was made without Him” (John 1:1-3).
